What are the usages of “Apply all slicers” and “Clear all Slicers”

The “Apply all slicers” and “Clear all slicers” buttons technically provide fast ways to apply or reset all slicer selections on a report page. In other words, this could be a performance enhancement for the report.

Clicking the “Apply all slicers” button ensures that all selections on slicers are applied. This reduces the number of visual queries triggered by multiple slicer selections and hence efficiency since all the choices will only be applied to the visuals after clicking the button.

The report will be returned to its initial, unfiltered state in the report page. This is done to use in cases when you have made several selections and later decide to view some data without any particular filters.
